How Attachment extractor works
This tool goes through your mailbox and gathers every attachment into a single .zip archive that you download. Handy for finding invoices, photos or documents scattered across years of messages, without opening each email one by one.
Step by step
- 1 You enter the credentials for the mailbox to go through.
- 2 We open your mailbox read-only and locate every attachment.
- 3 The files are gathered into an archive, arranged by their original folder.
- 4 You download the archive. It stays available for 48 hours, then it is deleted from our servers.
What to put in each field
- Email address and password *
- Include embedded images **
* Those of the mailbox to go through. App password required with Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo.
** Unchecked by default: otherwise every signature logo and newsletter image ends up in the archive, and you get thousands of them.
Good to know
- Your mailbox is not modified: attachments are copied, not removed. To free up space, see the mailbox slimming tool.
